Hollywood and The Set of SO RANDOM

Yesterday was a busy day as well. Kelsey and I headed for Hollywood at around noon with our bottled waters and turkey sandwiches. You do have to remember that I have never been to Hollywood before, so it was going to be an exciting day. Well, we get there and it turns out that it is one hundred and fifteen degrees. Yes, that is correct. 115 degrees Fahrenheit. While melting, we manage to walk down to the Chinese Theatre. I was so excited about all the stars on the floor, while other people weren't even glancing down. Bing Crosby was the first one I recognized, although the next star after that was Shrek. Yep, that is all it said was Shrek. Amazing who they let be on the Hollywood walk of fame. Although in front of the theatre, they had a Star Trek tile thing.
Here it is. Pretty cool right. And here is a photo of the front with Mwah.
We spent the rest of the time walking around, just trying to stay alive with all the heat. We took refuge in a McDonalds for about an hour. After we had finished our delicious cheese burgers and fries, we drove over to the Hollywood Center Studios. Here we had the great opportunity to sit on the floor for another hour to get into the gates. once moved in we sat on same awesome green benches for yet another hour. Finally, we were moved into the set of "SO RANDOM" a disney show, if you didn't know. It is based off of All That but for the next generation. basically a ton of small skits. We saw four skits shot and my laughter was recorded. Also, I will be on TV for the Christmas episode. :D how exciting. they taped the audience for a couple things.
And that was my say yesterday :)
and no I was not offended by you saying that my toes are different lengths. Don't worry.
Love, Lucy

  1. I'm glad you finally made it to Hollywood! I think I was also 20 the first time I went to Hollywood. Of course I had to go by myself since no one in my family was willing to go with me! I went to see a play in the Kodak theater - the theater where they film the Academy awards I think. I can't remember what the play was called...but it was about Moses and Val Kilmer was the star. The play wasn't actually very good...BUT I got to see Val Kilmer IN PERSON! Totally worth it.
