Dear Georgia,
It is true that I might have been neglecting you a tad and not posting. But in all honesty, nothing has really happened. I do have to say that I LOVE the pictures that you have been posting. I do have to agree that the Fall of Adam painting is my most favorite of all. The shrug and the pointing to Eve and to the snake. I am now using that in everyday conversations, believe it or not. I'll have to show you what I mean in one week. :)
Today I was lucky enough to visit that wonderful place that we call Disneyland. I went with Kelsey (who is staying at our house temporarily until she finds a job) and her family (who is visiting from Oklahoma. Well, it was all good and fun hanging out with the family, but they do not like the roller coaster rides. Indiana Jones was almost too much for them. So, after going on all the boring, I mean calm rides, they were going to go wait in line to see Rapunzel and then watch the parade. While they did that, I quickly ran to enjoy some of my favorite rides, Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain, and Space Mountain.
Which reminds me, remember last year when we all went to Disney and were in line for space mountain, and we see this little boy crying as the "rocket" pulls in to let the passengers out after the ride? And we thought "awe, that poor little boy. He couldn't handle Space Mountain." Then when we went on the ride, we had come to the realization that there was a Scary, Freaky monster that tries to eat you the entire time you are on the ride? Yea, I am pretty sure I was crying when I got off the ride.
I met Tiana, Cinderella, Ariel, Mickey, Chip N Dale, and Tigger today. Didn't get pictures with all of them but was able to enjoy their company. Oh how I miss when you worked there that summer and we would go all the time. I hope you don't mind that I tell everyone that you did work there at one time in the Candy Palace. I am still jealous of that job. Maybe someday.....
Pictures will follow soon, and more stories. :)
I love Disneyland. We may have to go when I get back. And I admit I occassionally check the Disney jobs website just to see if they are hiring candymakers. That was a fun job - I'd do it again. :)
